Sasan Mirkarimi is the President and founder of Mirk Law Group.  He specializes in civil litigation including, foreclosure defense, lender liability defense, real estate transactions, business, and healthcare issues. Prior to establishing Mirk Law Group, Mr. Mirkarimi served as a litigation attorney with firms responsible with representing major financial institutions, including banks, mortgage lenders, consumer financial companies, escrow companies, and mortgage loan servicers, in the defense of lawsuits involving lender liability, wrongful foreclosure, title insurance claims, breach of contract, violations of TILA, RESPA, FDCPA, REO and post-eviction litigation, and Bankruptcy Creditor claims.

Mr. Mirkarimi has since used this experience and knowledge obtained from defending such financial institutions to assist hundreds of homeowners in distress to obtain loan modifications, including principal reductions, foreclosure sale reversals, and monetary damages settlements.   The ability to litigate and navigate the issues surrounding foreclosures from both sides has allowed for Mr. Mirkarimi to provide superior representation to both his consumer and institutional clients.

Mr. Mirkarimi earned a degree in psychology with a minor in business from the University of Southern California.  He received his Juris Doctorate from California Western School of Law, in his hometown of San Diego, California.   Mr. Mirkarimi is an active member of the Consumer Attorneys of San Diego, the San Diego County Bar Association, and is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Courts, for the Central, Southern, Northern, and Eastern Districts of California.
